What is the ISAE 3402 type II statement?
Intersolve has recently completed its annual certification and obtained an updated ISAE 3402 Type II statement. This statement is issued by an independent auditor who assesses the quality of the outsourced activities of a service organization to a user organization. An important aspect of this assessment is whether the service organization, Intersolve in this case, is ‘in control’ of these activities.
Objective of ISAE3402 type II statement
With an ISAE3402 type II statement, Intersolve shows its clients and the internal organization that the quality of its service provision is sufficiently guaranteed. That quality is measured using an assessment of the structure, existence and functioning of the internal management measures.
The contents of an ISAE 3402 Type II report
The ISAE 3402 Type II report focuses on the service provision of Intersolve Payments B.V. and Intersolve Technologies B.V. Its scope, however, is not limited to management measures for financial processes. Issues such as reliability of the primary processes, information security, continuity and privacy measures are also included. The management measures are drawn up for the relevant processes within Intersolve. This applies to all services, therefore including items such as transactional services such as gift cards, loyalty programmes, Voucher & Ticketing and City Passes and for our financial services, which cover licence-based gift cards, escrow, e-wallet and payment services.
