Your role: you set the course and create value
As Product Owner, you are responsible for one of the four DevOps teams within our Giftcard & Loyalty Platform. You are at the intersection of business and technology and ensure that your team delivers demonstrable value for customers, partners and the platform as a whole.
You translate the product strategy into a clear roadmap and maintain focus in the backlog. In doing so, you make conscious choices between new functionalities, platform stability, technical debt and innovation.
You guide your team with clear goals, relevant context and accurate user stories. You ensure smooth collaboration, monitor progress and value creation, and are constantly focused on what deserves priority.
In addition, you play a connecting role with other Product Owners and teams. You coordinate dependencies, releases and architecture and contribute to alignment on the platform vision. Not only within your own team, but across the board.
You encourage product-oriented working, improve processes where necessary and set an example of value-driven decision-making.
What you bring to the table
- A higher professional education (HBO) or university education (WO) background, for example in Business, IT, Information Science or similar
- At least three years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within software development
- Experience with Agile/Scrum working methods and DevOps teams
- An affinity with fintech, payments or loyalty and gift cards
- An understanding of APIs, data flows and system links
- You know how to effortlessly connect business and technology
- You take ownership, think analytically and work in a goal-oriented manner
- You make decisions based on context and data and put your team in a position to perform
